If you love and care for them at home, you will probably be happy if they bloom as profusely and as long as possible. Usually, for this purpose, not only suitable conditions are needed, but also fertilization. Ready fertilizers, however, contain chemicals that are not particularly he althy. They can give off gases that can saturate the air in your home or have a strong unpleasant smell.
Instead of feeding your favorite plants with toxic artificial fertilizers, try making your own homemade fertilizer with all-natural ingredients. It contains turmeric, coffee and milk which have amazing nourishing properties and stimulate flowering.
Turmeric is very rich in active substances and is an antioxidant herb. Its root has been used for centuries in Eastern culture as a spice, but also as a medicinal agent due to its wonderful properties. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, including iron, phosphorus, calcium and iodine.
Coffee is saturated with antioxidants that have a nourishing effect and stimulate the growth of flowers. Milk is rich in protein and fat, which also nourish flowering.
To make a homemade fertilizer for abundant flowering of plants, mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 2 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee and 500 ml of fresh milk. Stir well. Let the mixture sit for a few days to saturate the milk with the beneficial ingredients from the turmeric and coffee. Then strain.
Water the plants with the liquid fertilizer every 2-3 weeks during their active flowering and growth period.
