What are the best ingredients for your homemade anti-wrinkle cream?
Avocado oil is known as a superfood for the skin. It is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants that have an anti-aging effect. Contains vitamin E, which has anti-inflammatory properties and smoothes skin texture.
Coconut oil is rich in fats that the skin needs. It has powerful anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Cleanses the skin in depth, controls sebum secretion and smoothes wrinkles.
Shea butter penetrates deep into the skin and nourishes and hydrates it. Its emollient properties smooth the skin structure and can have a positive effect on severely damaged and dry skin prone to wrinkles.
Ingredients of homemade anti-wrinkle cream:
- 1/8 cup avocado oil;
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil;
- 1 tablespoon beeswax;
- 1 tablespoon of shea butter;
- 5 drops of vitamin E oil;
- 3 drops lavender oil;
- 1 drop frankincense oil;
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder or cornstarch.
Put all ingredients in a glass jar except vitamin E, essential oils and arrowroot powder (starch). Place the jar in a pot of water on the stove over low heat. Heat until the ingredients start to melt and combine. Mix well.
Once the ingredients are completely melted, remove from heat. Allow the jar to cool, but not completely. Add vitamin E, essential oils and arrowroot powder or starch. Stir until fully combined.
Let the custard cool well before closing the lid. Store in a dark and dry place. Apply to skin morning and night for good results.
