  • 1 kg pork chops
  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 6-7 pickles
  • oil
  • Zingara Sauce Products:
  • 1 ½ tablespoon flour
  • 1 kg tomato sauce
  • 3-4 bay leaves
  • 200 g white wine
  • 700 g water
  • 7-8 peppercorns


Season the steaks with s alt and pepper. Roll well in flour. They are sealed until golden in a pan with oil. After removing the steaks, save the oil because it will be needed for other steps of the recipe.

Mushrooms and pickles are cut into thin strips and fried in the used oil. Place the sealed steaks in a tray and place the already fried mushrooms and pickles on them.

Preparing the sauce:

Fry the flour in the pot with the oil from the steaks. Then add the tomato sauce, white wine, peppercorns, bay leaves and water. Let it boil.

The resulting sauce is evenly poured over the steaks. The tray is wrapped with aluminum foil and placed in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. The products are left to stew like this for at least 1 hour, after which the foil is removed and the steaks are baked for another 20 minutes.

When they are ready, take them out of the oven and they are ready to eat.
