Every one of us faces difficulties in cleaning our home. The numerous stains on the windows, the dirt on the joints in the bathroom or stubborn splashes on the cabinets are difficult to treat and to clean them we are often forced to use chemical preparations. Many unpleasant odors come from wet toilets. Where there is moisture, the environment is perfect for germs to grow and we need to make extra efforts to keep hygiene up to par. Clogged drains are a very common sight in the urban environment.
How to deal with them?
The first step is prevention – to begin with, we should try to prevent clogging, which is often accompanied by unpleasant odors.If your bathroom or kitchen drain is blocked, there is a very simple trick you can use to solve this problem. You will only need a few ingredients for this.
Who are they?
- 3 tbsp. soda;
- 3 tbsp. liquid dishwasher detergent (or regular dish detergent)'
- 100 ml vinegar (or lemon juice);
- 2-3 liters of water.
The first step is to prepare the pipes for what's to come - turn on the faucet and let the water run for about a minute. Heat 1-2 liters of water that you have prepared in advance. Let it reach boiling point. Pour the boiling water into the clogged pipe. The next step is to put the tablespoons of baking soda in the opening of the channel. Then pour in the liquid dishwasher detergent (or dish detergent). Finally, pour in the vinegar (or lemon juice). Finish the cleaning procedure by pouring out the remaining boiling water.
You can use this trick to unclog the drains in the bathroom or to clean the pipes of the kitchen sink or wet room.
