Products:
- 4 h.h. all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. ground sea s alt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 6 tablespoons soft butter, plus a little extra for greasing the pan
- 1 and 3/4 tsp. buttermilk or kefir
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp raisins or dried cranberries
Preparation:
In a deep bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add the chopped soft butter to them. Start kneading with your hands until it forms crumbs. Add the raisins and mix again. Make a well in the middle. Separately, beat the buttermilk with the egg and add this mixture to the dough.Continue to stir with a wooden spoon. When the ingredients are combined, transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead gently, then shape into a round shape. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. The formed dough is placed in a pan with a non-stick coating, which has previously been well greased with oil. You can make a few light cuts in the dough with a knife. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 50-55 minutes.
