Products:

  • 2 pcs. chilled puff pastry

Preparation:

From cardboard, cut out stars of different sizes, making sure that there is consistency in their size so that the tree is stable. Place the cards on top of the dough and carefully cut with a knife. If you have star shapes for sweets in different sizes, you can also use them.

The finished stars are placed in a tray on baking paper and pricked in several places lightly with a fork. Then they are smeared with a beaten egg and baked in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

After they cool down, choose a suitable plate. Put some liquid chocolate on the bottom and place the first star, which should be the biggest. Coat it carefully with chocolate and place the second one. Coat it with chocolate as well, put the next star. This is how the star tree is arranged, spreading liquid chocolate between them.

The last one is also covered with chocolate, but the tip with the smallest star can also be secured with a toothpick if you want the star to stand upright. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar, decorate with cream, sticks, as you like.
