Products:
- 1 kg of flour,
- May 42,
- 6 eggs,
- 300 g sugar,
- 125 g butter,
- 80 ml oil,
- 1 tsp. s alt,
- 250 ml warm fresh milk,
- vanilla,
- lemon peel.
- For the filling:
- Dried fruits (figs, apricots, raisins, dates),
- jam orange peels,
- liquid chocolate
Preparation:
Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk, add a few spoonfuls of the flour, stir, cover with a towel and place the bowl in a container of hot water to bubble.
Beat the eggs with sugar, vanilla and lemon zest. Sift the flour, add the s alt, the foaming yeast, the egg mixture, the melted butter and knead a soft dough. Finally, add the warmed oil, adding it gradually and mixing it well. Grease a bowl and place the dough in it. Place the bowl in another bowl of hot water, cover with a towel and leave to rise. I formed a kozunak by rolling one part into a rectangular crust, sprinkled with chopped dried fruits and orange peels and rolled it into a roll, which I placed in an oiled pan, in the shape of a wreath. I rolled another ball into a crust slightly larger than the diameter of the pan, covered on top of the roll, cut the ends with scissors and twisted each part into a knot. I rolled out another ball, spread it with liquid chocolate and rolled it up. I cut into pieces and arranged them in the middle of the kosunaka. Leave to rise, brush with a beaten egg with a little fresh milk and bake at 180 degrees until done. I made muffins with liquid chocolate from the remaining dough.
