  • 400 g flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 150 g butter
  • 120 ml oil
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 kg apples
  • 1 vanilla
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • powdered sugar


Let the butter soften at room temperature. Mix it with the sugar. Beat them with a mixer. Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the egg yolks, milk, oil, vanilla, flour pre-sifted with soda and baking powder to the butter and sugar mixture.Knead a soft buttery dough. Add the egg whites to it. Stir again.

Meanwhile, peel and grate the apples. Roll them in the cinnamon and mix. Divide the dough into two parts. Grease a baking tray. Spread one half of the dough on its bottom. Spread the apples over the dough. Roll out the other half of the dough and cover the apples with it.

Bake in a 200 degree oven for 40 minutes or until done. Remove the pastry. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
