  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 300 g spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup fresh milk
  • 170 g cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated cheddar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • S alt and pepper to taste


Heat the oven to 220 degrees. Grease a baking tray with a little oil. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until browned or about 6-7 minutes.Add spinach and stir until tender or about 5 minutes. Drain the liquid from the pan. Transfer to a bowl.

Pour the milk into the pan and return to the heat on a medium heat. Melt the cream cheese in the milk and stir for about 3-4 minutes. Return the spinach to the pan along with half a cup of the mozzarella and the cheddar cheese. Stir until combined. Season with Worcestershire sauce, s alt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.

Bake in preheated oven until golden or about 25 minutes.
