"Bittersweet" for the most star newlyweds - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Hollywood's super couple tied the knot in Las Vegas, according to a confidential CNN source. The informant, who is a close person from Lopez's circle, shared that the wedding took place in Las Vegas in a very intimate circle of family and friends of the stars. Lopez also admitted in her Sunday news bulletin that she married Affleck.
“Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for paperwork along with four other couples, all together making the same trip to the wedding capital of the world. We barely made it to the little white church at midnight. They graciously stayed open so late, letting us take a few photos in a pink Cadillac that turned out to be driven by the King of Rock himself," Lopez wrote in his newsletter.
She also says that her wedding dress is from an old movie of hers, and Affleck just picked a suit from his closet.
“We read our own vows in this small temple and exchanged rings that we will wear for the rest of our lives. It was the best possible wedding we ever imagined.”
The love affair between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck began more than 20 years ago. The two met back in 2001 during the filming of Gigli. A year later, they are already engaged, but postpone the wedding due to the huge media attention focused on their relationship. In the end, they never make it to the altar, and each of them continues on their way with other partners.
Years later, it turns out that the saying "old love does not rust" was written as if for the two of them. In 2021, they renewed their relationship and have been inseparable for more than a year. And as of today, they are officially Mr. and Mrs. Affleck.
