One of the most dazzling events of the year that gathers the most famous faces of show business and presents stunning looks is Met Gala. Despite the pandemic, the red carpet has become a lavish celebration of fashion and beauty.
The most remarkable fashion evening is organized to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where the event itself was held. In 2020, the event was postponed due to COVID-19, so now, the world of show business has been looking forward to this solemn ceremony, which has been held since 1946.
You can't be in show business and not be part of this event. Some of the world's most famous fashion brands are competing to dress names such as Rihanna, Anna Wintour, Billie Eilish, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and many others, who this year were also part of Red carpet.
In September 2021, the Met Gala marks the opening of the Costume Institute's new exhibition In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, the first part of the exhibition. The second will be shown on May 5, 2020 and will be called In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
It is no coincidence that the costumes of most celebrities at the gala evening were inspired by American fashion. Check out some of them in our gallery.
