Melt the remaining wax using boiling water

Put a pot of water on the stove.Place the jars you will be cleaning from the wax in it. Let the water boil. Lower the heat and let the jars cook for a few more minutes. Remove the jars from the boiling water using a thick towel or glove. Peel the inside of them with kitchen paper. This will scrape off any remaining melted wax. Then wash with soap and water.

By freezing

Place the jar in the freezer overnight. It is important that the jar is at room temperature before placing it in the freezer. Avoid placing hot jars and dishes in the freezer to prevent them from cracking. Use a butter knife to scrape away wax residue quickly and easily. Then wash.

Hot water inside the jar

You can also try the easier and faster way to liquefy the wax in the candle jar by pouring boiling water into it and waiting for it to do its job. Then wash the jar with soap and water.
