Ingredients needed to make lavender milk:
- 2 cups fresh milk
- 3/4 teaspoon dried lavender flower
- honey of sweetness
- 1/4 teaspoon almond or vanilla bean extract if desired
Warm the milk along with the lavender in it, stirring it frequently. Once it boils, remove it from the heat and place a lid or plate over the pot for about 15 minutes to let the lavender release its aromas. Then strain the drink and add the honey and almond extract.
Besides lavender milk, there are two other drinks that will help you relax at the end of the day. These are golden milk and matcha milk.
Because of the ingredients it contains and especially because of turmeric, golden milk has an anti-inflammatory effect. How about a combination of matcha green tea and milk?
An interesting drink that, despite containing a small amount of caffeine, supplies our body with L-theanine – a compound in green tea that reduces stress and facilitates sleep , increases levels of serotonin and dopamine.
To prepare matcha milk, you will need 1 teaspoon of matcha powder, honey for sweetness, 250 ml of warm milk. Put the tea in a cup and add 2-3 tsp of warm water to it. Mix it well until it becomes a paste, then add the warm milk and honey. Drink the drink slowly and in small sips. Sweet dreams!
