Hair gel is a great way to fix your hairstyle and help it stay the way you did it all day. An even better and he althier idea for your hair is to make a homemade hair gel that includes only natural ingredients, such as flaxseed, honey, essential oils. With them, you will not only be able to keep your hairstyle in top shape during the day, but you will also nourish your hair.

The recipe for homemade flaxseed hair gel is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E and B vitamins. All of them penetrate deep into the hair, nourish it and help regenerate it.This wonderful cocktail of nutrients stimulates hair growth and fights hair loss.

What you need to make your homemade hair gel:

  • ½ cup flaxseed;
  • 1 glass of water;
  • Jojoba oil and lavender oil;
  • Aloe Vera;
  • Med.

Preparation method:

In a deep pot, boil the water. Add the flaxseed to the boiling water. Stir until fully cooked.

Reduce the heat and cook until the seeds float to the surface of the water and the liquid begins to thicken and resemble a gel. Turn off the stove. Strain the liquid. It will be the base for the gel.

Mix the gel with the essential oils (a few drops of both, you can add more if you wish). Stir well until you are sure they are well combined. Allow the liquid to cool very well.

Finally add honey (at room temperature, as soft as possible) and aloe vera to the liquid. Mix very well. Transfer the gel to a suitable container with a lid.

Use as intended like any other gel. It is important to wash your hair well before applying the gel and make sure that the hair is well rinsed. Using a conditioner that is overly enriched with added oils can reduce the effect of the gel as it weighs the hair down.

Dry the hair completely before applying the gel. This will increase its properties.
