Oily skin is a real disaster. Whatever you're doing, it shines and makes you look sweaty without actually being. Oily skin causes discomfort, irritations, conditions for the formation of acne and comedones.
What products should you absolutely avoid if you have oily skin?

Facial Oils
Your skin is already oily anyway - you don't need to oil it any more. Avoid those that clog pores. Also avoid cosmetics with an oily formula for dry skin.
Don't overuse acne products
Abusing acne products has the opposite effect. They dry out the skin, it becomes tight and irritated, causing the sebaceous glands to produce even more sebum to compensate. As a result, the glare becomes even more intrusive and things get out of hand.
Products containing silicones
These products are, including even shampoos, hair conditioners and styling products with silicones. Avoid all of them along with facial ones because they cause more oiliness and related problems.

Say no to products that are too heavy
This applies to all things that make it difficult for the skin to breathe and metabolize substances in it. Such are thick and heavy moisturizers, rich face and hair masks, conditioners with wax compounds and soaps with saturated fats.
All these products will cause major pore clogging and increased skin oiliness. Instead of these products, use those with salicylic acid, gels and hydrating serums, peels containing lactic acid.
