The combination of mint, cinnamon and clove can become a wonderful homemade mouthwash with very strong antibacterial properties and a refreshing effect. It can be used both after brushing teeth and as a mouth spray against bad breath at any time of the day.
How to make homemade mouthwash?
- 1 glass of water;
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves;
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon;
- 4 drops peppermint essential oil;
- ½ teaspoon honey (optional).
Boil the water on the stove. Once boiling, remove from heat. Add the cloves, cinnamon and mint. Stir well. Let the ingredients mix for 10 minutes. Strain the liquid into a suitable container with a lid. You can use the liquid both for rinsing after brushing your teeth and at any time of the day to freshen your breath.
