are a terrible problem in the winter. The bad thing is that lip balms don't always help. Some even make lips more prone to chapping. That is why it is better to make a homemade lip balm, in which you will be sure of what is contained. We offer a great recipe for homemade mint and almond oil conditioner.
What you need
- 8 drops of peppermint oil
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 tablespoon beeswax
- glass jar
- storage box
- lipstick shavings for color (optional)
Place the beeswax and almond oil in the glass jar, close it tightly. Melt the ingredients as they are in the jar in a water bath by heating a pot of water on medium temperature. Place the jar in it until the mixture melts. Stir occasionally. Then remove the jar from the heat and use the dropper to measure out 8 drops of peppermint oil.
If you want your conditioner to have color, add the lipstick too. Stir very well to make sure all the components are melted and mixed well. Pour into the storage container and refrigerate until the conditioner is completely set before using.
