Do you like wearing perfumes? Then you are probably a connoisseur of good fragrance. However, sometimes a person cannot find his favorite smell in perfumeries, simply because the pre-made perfumes are not individually designed.
The reason you want to make your own perfume may be the cost. Homemade is cheaper, but at the same time it is no less good and durable.
How to make homemade perfume? Here's what you need:
It should not have a pungent smell like olive oil, because then the emphasis will fall on it.Therefore, it is better to use grape seed oil or sweet almond oil. They are more suitable and cheaper. Jojoba oil is also an option, but you have to be more careful with it, as it solidifies at lower temperatures.
Essential oils can be very expensive, fancy, and hard to come by, such as sandalwood oil, violet leaf oil, or oakmoss.
But you can also find suitable and no less durable and fragrant ones that you like. These are the oil of lemon, vanilla, grapefruit, mint, lavender, geranium, ylang-ylang, cedar wood, jasmine, ginger, orange.
The other thing you need of course is an elegant and beautiful bottle to store your wonderful fragrance in.
Pour ¾ of the base oil into the bottle. Then add 2 tablespoons vodka to the mixture. Fill the remaining space in the bottle with distilled water.
Then add the essential oil drop by drop. After each drop, cap and shake the bottle well to mix the two textures well.
Add as many drops as you want the perfume to be saturated. After each addition, smell. That's the best way to judge. It is preferable to wait a few seconds after adding the essential oil to dissipate the false rich aroma from it.
Store the perfume in the bottle with a suitable cap.
