There are many ways to be the center of attention in your friendly company, and through mathematical tricks! The brigtside site presents a great trick with 6 quick and easy questions to guess your age. See how:
- Choose any number from 1 to 9.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (Example 1)
- Multiply your chosen number by 2.
X x 2 (Example: 1x2=2)
- Add 5 to the resulting number.
X x 2+5 (Example: 1x2+5=7)
- Multiply the result by 50.
(X x 2+5) x 50 (Example: (1x2+5)x50=350)
If your birthday this year has already passed, add 1767 to the resulting number.
If it hasn't passed yet, add 1766.
(Example: 350+1767=2117 / 350+1766=2116)
- Subtract your year of birth from the resulting result.
(Example: 2117-1986=131)
And you should get a three digit number, in the case of our example it is the number 131.
The first digit is the digit we chose in the example – 1, and the next two digits are your age. In the case of our example, are the age of the editor.
Great math trick that has no error!
