We've heard of superfoods, and nuts are one of them. Do you like to eat almonds? Raw or roasted, without added flavorings, these he althy nuts provide us with important vitamins such as E, A, B-complex, minerals - potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, zinc, selenium and others. Their regular consumption has a number of benefits for our he alth (see more here), but almonds make a great homemade face scrub and are also suitable for our homemade beautifying masks. They gently remove dead skin cells, improve the appearance of the skin, leaving it soft and shiny.
Face mask for mature/very dry skin
You will need 3 tbsp. ground almonds to combine with 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp yoghurt. Combine all the ingredients and apply the mask to cleansed skin with light massage movements. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
Face mask for oily skin
In a bowl, combine 2 tbsp ground almonds, 1 tbsp hummus (optional) and rose water. The amount of rose water should be enough to make a smooth mixture, but not too runny. Apply the mask on clean and dry skin. After 15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water and apply a suitable moisturizing cream.
Moisturizing mask for every skin type
You have probably heard that honey is very beneficial for the he alth and beauty of the skin. Pamper your face by combining 4 tbsp. ground almonds with 3-4 tbsp. honey If desired, you can add a few drops of lemon juice. Apply the mask with a light massage and after 10-15 minutes, rinse it off with lukewarm water. If necessary, apply a suitable cream.
