Aronia (Aronia) is from the Rosaceae family. It is a perennial shrub. Its height is from 1.5 to 3 m.
It looks like a tree to me. This is due to the fact that what I observe is still young. According to the books, they promise that after 3-4 years it will look like a real bush, and the yields from a few strands of black balls will reach 4-12 kilograms.
The best known is black chokeberry In Russia it is called mountain ash. I have often wondered what kind of beauty this is, and it was chokeberry. And they have been using it there for a long time because of its healing properties. Its homeland is North America. It tolerates the conditions of the temperate climate zone, winter colds and summer heat well, so if you have doubts about whether it will catch on - they are unfounded.
Actually, chokeberry tastes quite astringent - so it is certainly not suitable for direct consumption.
But it is perfect for everything else, starting with the simplest juice, wine, jam, liqueur… and everything in that spirit.
Now I will try to briefly write what it is believed to be useful for and you will decide how to use it.
Maybe first you should plant a bush in the garden or in front of the block and then think. And maybe enterprising people are already selling it in the markets and we can take advantage.
The fact is that people have been using it for years and it has been proven to be useful.
It turns out that it is rich in all kinds of vitamins and especially the not so popular vitamin P. Thanks to it, the connective tissue is strengthened and capillary hemorrhages are prevented. It is used for recovery after a heart attack, stroke and other diseases of the cardiovascular system.
Aronia is a strong immunostimulant. Fresh chokeberry juice is also recommended for normalizing high blood pressure.
It also contains potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, iodine.
Aronia is recommended for diabetics. It is also believed to give positive results in the treatment of liver cancer.
And notice it has an anti-radiation effect – protects against computer radiation, mobile phones and other radiation rays. We really can't verify it, we have to trust the group of Soviet or American or whatever the scientists are there. And we always pass these things on as urban legends, because in practice there is no way to verify the information. The good thing is that, as they say, if it doesn't help, it doesn't hurt. The truth is that for almost every herb or plant that we go to research - what it contains and what it is good for we generally repeat the same thing and for almost every one that it is effective even against cancer. Apparently something in the doses and combinations that are recommended is not quite right, because otherwise the treatment of everything would be much easier.
So as they say, drink, eat prophylactically.
Aronia juice is good against headaches, fatigue, nervous tension and disorders, as well as stimulates the regeneration of muscle and bone tissue.
And here's something for prevention - it has antiseptic properties - protects against viral and bacterial infections, relieves bronchitis.
- Has a favorable effect on the growth of children.
- And it has an anti-allergic effect.
- Suitable for small children, pregnant women and people on diets.
- Ideal for unloading days and body-cleansing diets.
- It has a strong diuretic effect. It is also recommended for kidney inflammation and thyroid gland dysfunction.
I hope you don't have to check if what I wrote is true, but use aronia prophylactically, like elderberry and then brag - whether it's from the aronia or not, I don't know, but I didn't get sick all winter.
