Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child together – a daughter named Daisy This was announced by the proud parents through the official page of WINICEF on Twitter and Instagram, as they are goodwill ambassadors for the organization. Bloom also shared the message on his personal profile on social networks.
This is what the official announcement on UNICEF's Twitter page reads:
“Welcome to this world, Daisy Dove Bloom! It is with great honor that we present to you the joy of our Goodwill Ambassadors Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom".
And this is what Orlando Bloom wrote:
“We are filled with a lot of love and gratitude for the trouble-free birth of our daughter. But we know that we are lucky and that not everyone has the opportunity to experience a birth as peaceful as ours.
“Communities around the world still experience a shortage of he alth workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Because of COVID-19, many more newborn lives are at risk due to severe shortages of water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent disease. As parents of a newborn, this breaks our hearts as we empathize with all parents' struggles more than ever.
