Summer vacation is the most anticipated event for children throughout the year. Village games, beach and sea or pool swimming, carefree fun all day are every kid's dream.
As responsible parents, however, we know that our children face many dangers and risks. Here are the most common threats to children's he alth during the summer and how to protect them:
1. Dehydration
The heat is merciless, even to children. No matter how active they are outside, they can quickly become dehydrated and harm their he alth. Remind them to drink water constantly and watch them drink at least a liter and a half a day.
2. Heatstroke
The sun can be extremely dangerous for children. Sunstroke is no joke, so avoid walking and playing outside between 12 and 4:30 p.m. It's best for them to sleep then.
3. Safe swimming
Global statistics show that around 170,000 children and teenagers die from drowning every year. This number is staggeringly large and requires your utmost attention. Do not let the child into the sea or pool without an adult you trust. You or dad better accompany him to the pool.
4. Sunburns
The topic has been repeated thousands of times, but the fact is that it almost always happens that children get burned at least once. From now on, stock up on nice and high-quality sunscreen cosmetics that won't leave your bag. Always apply cream to both your child and yourself before going out. Let him learn from your good example.
5. Bee Sting
This can be very risky for children allergic to stings. The bee sting must be removed immediately before the child goes into shock.
