Life is complicated because we make it so. We are used to constantly following stereotypes that ultimately make us unhappy. There are times when our lives seem difficult and desperate. We don't realize how much easier it would be if we could just see some obvious truths that will help us navigate our lives like water.
“We attach undue importance to our lives”
Excessive drive to pursue some goal usually makes us feel bad. If we understand that we can be satisfied with our lives, even if we are not running a large successful company, but are just a salesperson in a store, for example, we will be much happier and satisfied with our lives.
Some will say that this is not constructive, that it is bad to have no purpose and be content with your miserable life. We will say - we can't all be managers, entrepreneurs, managers, inventors and pioneers. If we all had such massive aspirations, how would we live on this planet?! Even now humanity has enough problems, let alone if we all wanted to rule the world.
That's why we should just be thankful that we exist and that we are who we are. A simple truth that gives wings.
“The perfect partner does not exist”
Ladies, you've been looking for Mr. Fairy Tale Prince! He just doesn't exist. The idea of him prevents you from finding true happiness. You look at flaws, look for love under wood and stone and often pass it by without knowing it.
No, there are no perfect partners, no princes, no princesses, no "lived happily ever after". There are compromises, human mistakes, soul wounds and then forgiveness. This is love - and alive. If you love her for herself, you will be truly happy.
Life is a game
Learn to play this game. Life is a constant challenge. You can't just sit and wait for something good to happen to you - you have to try to achieve it yourself. As in any game, as in life, it's up to you how much effort you put in to get to the next level.
“Everything has an end”
Life has an end, the good times have an end, the bad ones too. There is an end to luck, good and bad. The praises, the loves, the excitement, the suffering - everything in this world has an end and if you accept it, it will be much easier for you to overcome the challenge called life.
If you are realistic, life is much easier
Unrealistic expectations from life, rose-colored glasses we put on ourselves, dreams and daydreams make us feel many times more unhappy if things go differently. Being positive is good, but flying in the clouds and being blind to the truth in life is wrong, even harmful.
If we are realistic it will not only be much easier for us to deal with life's challenges, but we will also be less frustrated, therefore less unhappy and discouraged.
