  • 1 unsliced bread
  • 1 jar of liquid chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 200 ml liquid unsweetened cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 100 g melted butter
  • brown sugar for sprinkling


Cut the bread into slices of equal thickness, it is very important not to cut them all the way, but only enough to be able to coat them with the liquid chocolate. This is the second step. Spread a generous amount of chocolate between all the slices.


Then place aluminum foil in a baking tray. In it, shape the foil into something like a second tray in which to place the bread. Beat the eggs together with the cream, milk, cinnamon and sugar. Pour the milk mixture over the bread, and while pouring, loosen the slices slightly so that they are soaked.

Turn the bread several times in the mixture and wait about 20 minutes to soak it well. Finally, pour the melted butter over it and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
