250 g flour, 350 g icing sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 150 g butter, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, various food colorings, colorful and golden sugar balls
Method of preparation
The flour is sifted on the work surface, a well is dug. 150 g of powdered sugar is sifted on top, the egg and cinnamon are poured into the cavity. Cut the cold butter into pieces and arrange on the edges.
Everything is chopped with a large knife, then kneaded quickly into a smooth dough. It is wrapped in foil and left for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
The tray is covered with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. The dough is kneaded once more briefly, rolled out on a lightly floured board with a thickness of about 4 mm. Figures are cut out with molds and arranged in the tray. Bake for about 10 minutes, remove and let cool on a wire rack.
Lemon juice is mixed with the remaining powdered sugar, divided into portions and colored with the various dyes. With the help of a syringe, the sweets are decorated figuratively. Finally, they are decorated with sugar balls.
