  • 125 g flour
  • 220 g brown sugar
  • 60 g oats
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 110 g butter
  • 1 pinch of s alt
  • 1 kg strawberries, chopped
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 225 ml water


Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Carefully add the butter as well, stirring to form large sticky crumbs. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased pan. Scatter the sliced strawberries on top.

In a pan, mix the sugar with the starch. Add the water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir for about 2-3 minutes and pour the liquid over the strawberries. Then spread the rest of the crumb mixture on top. Bake for 1 hour. Serve the cake after it has cooled.
