Hot passions, an abundance of culinary talent and exciting stories of the best hobby cooks in Bulgaria who want to become professionals will captivate viewers from February 26 at 9:00 p.m., when the new, fourth season of MasterChef on bTV.
Among the new 21 gladiators who will fight for the high rating of the star jury Andre Tokev, Leo Bianchi and Petar Mikhalchev every Monday and Tuesday on the air of the most watched television, there are people with various professions, experience abroad and diverse interests.
Fans of good taste will enjoy the culinary skills of a folk dance teacher, ex-military and multi-mission participant, a geologist who cooked for our scientists in Antarctica, an exotic manicurist, as well as a lady who discovered her love of food after heavy transplant.
The disputed competition will also include a 30-year-old lawyer with an impressive physique and a business for "a lot of money", a millionaire's wife who speaks 3 languages and has traveled the world, a firefighter from Burgas with a taste for Japanese cuisine, the most - the eldest sister in a family with 6 children and other curious characters of our time. Only one of them will deserve the MasterChef title, the prize of BGN 100,000 and a course at the most prestigious culinary academy Le Cordon Bleu in London.
Days before the start of Bulgaria's favorite culinary show on bTV, the MasterChef virtuoso jury revealed what the role of each of them will be in the new season. The two chefs Andre Tokev and Petar Mikhalchev and the successful restaurateur and specialist in Italian cuisine Leo Bianchi made a unique demonstration together with finalists and winners of the previous three seasons of the show in Bulgaria.
United in three teams, the "generations" of the culinary format created signature recipes to inspire creativity, team spirit and loy alty among TV viewers and contenders for the prestigious title.
Simeon Chervenkov, Avram Golemechkov and Stefan Stefanov from season 1 prepared an exotic veggie soup with spicy shrimp and a crispy surprise from the "three tenors". Season 2's team of Sevda Dimitrova, Evgeni Yordanov and Yoana Todorova topped them off with juicy duck with cashew cream, cherry tobacco chocolate sauce, almond chips and porcini foam.

The title holder – Bojana Katsarov, along with Rositsa Ivanova and Tsvetomir Savchev from season 3 created the perfect sweet finale with a chocolate cake with buffalo yogurt ice cream and speci alty coffee prepared in an alternative way.
For the first time in MasterChef Bulgaria, the jury will also assess the potential of hobby cooks not only to prepare the most creative, beautiful and delicious dish, but also to look at cooking as a successful business.
The new member of the jury, Leo Bianchi, is hired for this role, who knows the restaurant business in depth since childhood, when he started working together with his father. Chefs Andre Tokev and Petar Mikhalchev promise to surprise the viewers with their roles in the new season and to make an even stronger show together with the new member of the jury in the Leo team.
