The he althiest sauces are homemade - homemade mayonnaise, tomato puree or hummus. You can be sure that there are no additives, artificial colors and preservatives in them, and they certainly have less s alt.

In addition to these, try hummus diluted with lemon juice,instead of mayonnaise, strained yogurt and pureed avocado sauce, fresh tomato juice and cucumber juice. There is no information on their calorie content, but they are certainly on the low side, unless you add walnuts or other nuts to them. Chocolate butter sauce is the calorie champion of desserts.
