Beauty will save the world, but how to save beauty? Yuliana Doncheva exposes the unsavory side of the cosmetics industry and openly shares her experience in her new book. Following the success of Code Red: My Food Truth, the stylish lady scrutinizes the fine print on labels and cross-examines modern methods of changing the look.
The book is a useful and practical guide on how to be informed and sensible consumers.
“Beauty is not exciting if we freeze our face with botox. She is only real when she is alive,", Doncheva shares, addressing the ladies who enthusiastically undergo all kinds of procedures for the purpose of beautification, with advice not to cross the limits of what is permissible. Because entering the code red zone usually entails serious he alth consequences that insidiously remain invisible for years. According to the author, the secret of beauty that everyone must discover for themselves is awareness and moderation.

In her book, Yuliana Doncheva pays special attention to harmful substances in mass cosmetic products, and more precisely to what is hidden behind unclear terms and confusing abbreviations. The reader does not need to be a certified chemist to decipher the composition of all the active substances in his personal care products. In "Code Red: Botox in the Mind" everything is "translated" into understandable language. And there is something for everyone. For parents of young girls who unsuspectingly become complicit in fashionable but risky beauty practices. For ladies who are ready to do anything to meet the "standards" of their strong partners. For strong spouses who do not even suspect what cocktail of chemical substances they shave with in the morning. For tattoo fans and those with a bold sun tan. For young mothers and their mothers. For everyone who pays attention to what they put on the table, and not what they "feed" their body through cosmetics.
The premiere of the book will take place from 6:30 p.m. on October 17 in the new metropolitan space for art and culture "The Book", where Yuliana Doncheva herself will present the publication and her cause with the help of Professor Lyubomir Stoykov and the journalist Anton Stefanov.
