  • 4 cups potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 cups sliced ham
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon s alt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 200 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch red pepper


Grease a baking tray. Arrange a layer of potatoes on the bottom. Cover them with a layer of ham and onion. Then repeat the layer arrangement. Heat the milk on the stove. Add the flour to it. Stir until dissolved. Add peas, butter, s alt, pepper, garlic powder. Let it boil for about 10 minutes until it thickens.

Add the cheddar to the mixture and stir until melted. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and ham. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.

Cover with foil. Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 1 hour. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
