- 1 kg potatoes,
- 1 bunch parsley,
- s alt to taste,
- 4-5 eggs,
- 1 packet of cream cheese,
- 250 g minced meat,
- 2-3 spaghetti sticks,
- lettuce leaves for decoration,
- 2-3 tomato peels - for roses,
- 1 tomato – for ladybugs,
- black olives,
The potatoes are boiled and peeled. They are s alted and mashed. They are placed in the middle of a suitable plate, forming a nest shape. Parsley is washed and chopped, put in the middle of the nest. The eggs are boiled, peeled and only the yolks are taken from them, which are mixed with the cream cheese - they are used to prepare the chicks. Chicks can be placed in eggshells - for greater effect. From the mixture (cream cheese and egg yolks) balls are formed - one larger - for the body of the chick, and the other smaller - for the head. Black peppercorns are used for the eyes of the chicks, and the wings, beaks and combs are cut from a carrot using a knife or peeler. Ready chicks are arranged in the nest. On the side, it is decorated with the tomato skins, shaped like roses, the ladybugs, which are made from a tomato - cut it in half, make an incision in half, pierce it with a knife in several places, where you also put peppercorns - for dots, black olive - for the head. The hedgehogs are prepared from the mincemeat, and with slightly wet fingers (in vinegar) the bodies and muzzles are shaped, black peppercorns are placed for eyes, and the spines are the spaghetti broken into parts and stuck in the mincemeat.
The finished hedgehogs are baked in a heated oven, on baking paper - until the minced meat is ready. You arrange everything on the plate as you like - according to taste and fantasy.;)
