Preparation:
The chestnut cake is largely similar to the technique of making Garash cake, but it is much more aromatic and with a strong taste, which the chestnuts in it give. The preparation time is not short (about 1 hour), but it is worth it - the result is fantastic! f
Products:
5 eggs
about 1/2 kg boiled chestnuts (cleaned about 2 and 1/2 tea cups)
1 package 250 g butter
300 g powdered sugar
2 vanilla
2-3 tbsp. a lie. cocoa
1 soup. a lie. flour (for greasing the pan)
Let the butter soften at room temperature. Place the butter and powdered sugar in a deep bowl and start mixing until homogenized. Then add the egg yolks, one by one, with constant stirring. Add cocoa and vanilla. When the mixture is ready, it is divided into two - for the cream and for the marshmallows.
The part for the marshmallows is mixed and gradually the cleaned and coarsely broken boiled chestnuts are added. After the chestnuts have been absorbed, add the beaten egg whites - with continuous gentle stirring. The marsh mixture is ready. Grease the cake pan with butter and sprinkle with a little flour. Then the mixture is poured and the cake is baked for about 30-40 minutes at about 180 degrees. After removing from the oven, let it cool.
The cooled cake is placed in a cake plate. Spread the cream on top of the cake, which was separated from the first part of the recipe. The cake is placed in the refrigerator for about an hour and is ready to be served.
Bon appetit!
