On May 22, in a capital mall, more than 2,000 people watched the culinary show of the master confectioner Rudolph van Veen One of the most favorite faces of the Bulgarian viewers of24Kitchen rolled out a pie with the colorful grandmother Yordanka and prepared two desserts – strawberry cake and star truffle.
Within 8 days, Rudolph visited 4 Balkan countries - Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Bulgaria. He came to Sofia from Belgrade, where he canceled his planned event due to the national mourning for those who died in the floods.
The Dutchman prepared lunch for the children affected by the floods and supported the campaign to collect aid for the families in distress.
During his Balkan tour, Rudolph cooked in front of 10,000 fans and learned how to roll a pie. Here's what he shared with his Bulgarian fans:
"If there is a flood and we need to save several types of food from around the world, I will definitely store your pie and yogurt in my Noah's ark," said Rudolph categorically.
He promises, soon in his show "Rudolf's Bakery" Bulgarian fans will see how he will prepare leek pie. Hosts of the event were the radiant Deo and everyone's favorite Yoli who distributed many prizes to the attendees.
Rudolf himself had prepared a surprise. He made a special strawberry cake for a birthday girl in the audience. The five winners of the Facebook game “Impress Rudolph” left with gifts.
The Multicooker grand prize went to Aneta Cherkezova, who won the privilege of cooking together with Rudolph in a competition with over 5,000 entries.
