One thousand BGN can save tens of thousands of invitro procedures. This is possible thanks to new research called ERA. It determines exactly when the uterus is ready to receive the embryo. It is based on 10 years of scientific research and clinical experience. The study explains infertility of unknown origin and increases the chances of success. 27% of women who have done so are already pregnant. "Only 6 months after the introduction of the method in Bulgaria, the first families with multiple previous in vitro procedures are expecting a child," said the "Sofia" SBALAGRM, who were the first to implement the method in our country.

Very often women for no apparent reason reject even embryos with the best indicators. It turns out that the problem is in the lining of the uterus. She is ready to accept an embryo in a precisely defined period (the so-called "implantation window"). "In about a quarter to a fifth of cases, this 'window' does not overlap with expectations." That's why there is no pregnancy," commented Dr. Yavor Vladimirov, director of the hospital. It turns out that this "window" is different for every woman. For some it is between two and three days, for others it can be a few hours. "For some of our patients, this 'window' is only 12 hours!", the clinic adds. And although it is not yet clear why this "window" moves, it is known that for the "right moment" the "work" is needed ' on 134 genes.

Between 2 and 10 thousand BGN is the price of just one in vitro procedure in Bulgaria (diagnosis, drugs, hormonal tests, the procedure itself), while the average price for the market is between 5 and 6 thousand BGN. It is known that out of every 100 attempts, only 25 are successful. One of the reasons lies precisely in the discrepancies in the "implantation window". "One of the women who took the test became pregnant after the first failed attempt. However, another did the research after the seventh procedure. Imagine how many painful and expensive trials the couple would have saved if they had done the test at the beginning," the clinic added.
