Four years after their last visit to our country, Thievery Corporation once again included Bulgaria in their live calendar. On June 28, 2022 in Sofia, the kings of lounge will perform live in front of a Bulgarian audience to crown the beginning of summer with a big concert, part of this year's world tour The Outernational Tour V.2. The event is organized by EventEase and tickets are now on sale online.
Thieevery Corporation's immersive show will unfold amidst historical artifacts from different eras. They will be a natural decoration in the heat of the June evening, predisposing the attendees to immerse themselves in their atmospheric sound - a bridge to distant worlds, cultures and eras. The stage for the event will be built outdoors in front of the National History Museum with a panoramic view of the Vitosha mountain rising in front of it.
The Washington electronic duo, behind the names of Eric Hilton and Rob Garza, will once again warm the souls of its thousands of Bulgarian fans with a hypnotic mix of reggae, lounge, dub, bossa nova, afro beat, trip hop, acid jazz, garnished with Indian, Brazilian and Arabic motifs. Audio-visual effects and the participation of performers from different ethnicities are an ancillary but key element of the magic of their stage presence.

The name of the current tour Outernational carries messages that are more relevant than ever globally. It reflects Hilton and Garza's ideals of a world based on diversity, acceptance and an awareness of the importance of inclusion, across national and ethnic boundaries. "People-focused artists like The Clash, Fela Kuti and Manu Chao have always been important to us, and engaging with social ideas is part of what we're trying to do," Hilton shared.
