Berlin
Berlin is not only the capital of Germany, but it can also be described as one of the most beautiful European cities during the Christmas holidays. The city has over 50 Christmas markets that delight tourists and locals every year. One of the most notable and largest of all is the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche, which is visited by around two million visitors each year. At this Christmas market you can find many souvenirs, jewelry, ornaments as well as roasted chestnuts with mulled wine. The bazaar welcomes visitors from November 24 to January 1.

Budapest
The Christmas fair is filled with lots of dancing, singing and live music. The festive atmosphere begins to be felt already in the middle of November. One of the largest Christmas markets is located near one of the largest shopping streets. Around 150 stalls welcome tourists and guests to the city, with an abundance of art and culture, even a puppet theatre. The bazaar opens on November 18 and its lights go out on December 30.

Vienna
In winter, Vienna is even more beautiful, especially when the lights of the Christmas markets illuminate it. One of the most famous in the city is the one located in front of the town hall building. Christmas for the Viennese must pass through the bazaars, where everyone can try mulled wine with sausages, chestnuts and aromatic holiday sweets. This feast starts on November 17th and runs until December 24th.

If you are planning a trip and will visit Schonbrunn Palace, there is also an organized Christmas market there from November 24th to December 26th. Don't miss the Altwiener Christkindlmarkt from 23 November to 23 December and the Spittelberg markt from 15 November to 23 December.
Prague
Christmas markets in Prague are usually held in the old town squares of the city. Visitors can try non-traditional food and drinks, choose beautiful gifts and decorations or buy carp, which is traditionally eaten at Christmas. To warm up in the cold weather, tourists usually take grog with honey. The streets are always filled with Czech carols and the city's architecture is more than remarkable. The bazaars are open from December 1st to January 1st.

Zurich
Zurich is home to one of the largest indoor Christmas markets in Europe. Every year, a celebration is organized near the railway station in the city, where the lights of the beautiful Christmas tree are also lit. There are several Christmas markets in the city that you can visit:

Paris
The Christmas market tradition in Paris is later compared to other European destinations, but it cannot be missed.
